Here at\u00a0Zenkit<\/a>, we\u2019ve written a fair bit about\u00a0teamwork<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0collaboration<\/a>. But, since it\u2019s T-minus two days until the world is ablaze with World Cup mania, it only made sense that we find some sort of correlation between football and project management.<\/p>\n So, I present to you, the lessons project teams can learn from football\u2019s ultimate tournament.<\/p>\n Teamwork and collaboration are always closely associated with one another, and while the outcome of both often produces the same measurable result, they don\u2019t exactly mean the same thing.<\/p>\n Teamwork<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is best described as the process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve a goal. With\u00a0direction from a group leader<\/a>, each individual has their own roles and responsibilities to carry out that will eventuate in the end result.<\/p>\n\r\n<\/p>\n
